Last drawings at Sea World...

Here are some of my favorite drawings I drew in my last few months working at Sea World. The last one is of 2 dogs I got on my last day of work. I love drawings animals. I quit Sea World because I went off to marry the love of my life and we are now living happily in Hawaii.

This family came up to the stand about and hour and half before closing and told me they wanted 2 separate drawings of their grandson and then a third with him again and with Dad and Grandpa. I was excited to have so much work but I told them I only had time to do the first 2 because the park was closing. Luckily they lived close-by and came back 2 days later to have the triple done! So I had to draw that little boy 3 different times. Can you tell the difference?

My process on a charcoal portriat

I usually don't grid my drawings, but I wanted this to be very accurate. I might end up doing it more because it saves a lot of time and erasing and I get the exact size I want. I am used to working with chalk on smooth paper so this was a little bit of a challenge and at step 3 I was having a hard time blending, but I figured it out in the end.
