Rita Rodriguez Frazee: Rita Rodriguez Frazee is an artist originally from Williamsburg, Virginia. Working primarily in graphite, colored pencil, chalk pastel or charcoal, Rita considers herself to be a “drawer” not a “painter”. Throughout her entire life of creating art, Rita has found her passion in portraits. From 2003-2010, Rita worked as a portrait artist at theme parks in Virginia and Florida. She learned to quickly draw people (and sometimes pets) and cut silhouette shadow portraits out of paper. After moving from Florida to Hawaii in 2010 to become an army wife, Rita has been able to spend more time creating and perfecting her portraits at home. In 2008, Rita received a BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University. She studied communication arts and illustration. Besides portraits. Rita has many other artistic talents which include face-painting, free hand henna tattoos, calligraphy, letter brush art and more art to be discovered!
