HOW IT WORKS
Deciding to get a portrait. If you have made it this far into my site, I'm sure you are interested in getting me to draw a portrait for you. Whether you want the portrait for yourself or as a gift for someone, I can help meet your needs. There are some things to consider before making the final decision so that you know you will be getting what you want. Please look at my samples to see examples of the portraits I have recently done. Seeing what I have already drawn will let you know what to expect when commissioning a portrait. You can even see the photos I drew from and how I interpret that photo into a finished portrait. If you are impressed by the work I have done and excited to get started with the process, then let's go!
Understand what you will be getting. For now, I will only be creating black and white pencil drawings at the size of 11x14. Your purchase of each drawing will include a white mat which makes it a 16x20 standard frame size. The art will also be wrapped in protective plastic which keeps it safe until you are ready to frame the artwork. Because I can only work at 11x14 size, there is limited space to draw. For multiple subjects, I recommend only putting up to 3 faces in the drawing. If you want multiples, you will pay more to have separate drawings, but you ,may think it is worth it if you want more detail and attention given to each face.
